YO QUIERO UNA NAVIDAD

Quiero que mi navidad sea iluminada con bombillas de alegría,

con pájaros ilusionados

palomas de paz volando.

Quiero una navidad diferente,

sin tanto lujo entre la gente;

lleno  de ternura y perdón,

pleno de cosas que llenen el corazón.

¡Ah navidades, las de antaño!

Con chocolate, panetón y pavo

compartiendo  con nuestros hermanos.

Quiero una navidad en que no existan

blancos, amarillos, ni negros;

navidad en que todos nos unamos.

Quiero una navidad

que no discrimine,

que no vea lo exterior

sino las maravillas de las  joyas del alma.

Quiero esa navidad 

en que el centro sea el niño Jesús

y no ese señor gordo de rojo.

Quiero una navidad santa

llena de amor.

I WANT A CHRISTMAS



I want my Christmas to be lit with bulbs of joy,

with excited birds and peace doves flying all over the world.



I want a different Christmas,

without so much luxury among people;

full of tenderness and forgiveness,

full of things that fill the heart.



Ah, Christmas, those of yesteryear!

With chocolate, panettone and turkey

sharing with our brothers.



I want a Christmas when they don't exist

white, yellow, or black;

Christmas when we all join.



I want a christmas

that does not discriminate

that does not see the outside

but the wonders of the jewels of the soul.





I want that christmas

that the center is the baby Jesus

and not that fat man in red.

I want a holy Christmas

full of love
