ESTRANGULADA LA PENA
Estrangulada la pena en su banco
solitario,
emite maullidos de dolor;
se sienta en su cama de lamentos,
araña la sien del sufrimiento.
¡Cuántos rosarios vertidos por sus
labios fríos!
¡Cuánta agua salada se derraman de
sus faros!
Cantan las golondrinas de Bécquer
en sus gráciles trinos de amor
pero sus alas no se levantan,
porque duermen en el mausoleo del
infortunio.
¡Oh pena!
Titanio que dueles, que rasgas y
aplastas,
Dime:
¿En qué ríos enterraré tus pisadas
aciagas?
No me llames a tus puertas de
congojas,
no me invites tus helados amargos,
¡No puedo con tanto clavo de
llanto!
Yo solo soy
un humano,
una frágil margarita del campo.
Pena, tus palomas grises
lloran
hoy en mi ventana;
tus ramas filosas
cercenan mis sueños.
Tus estocadas, duelen,
duelen...sangran.

Strangled the penalty
He strangled the penalty in his lonely bank,
emits howling pain;
sits on his bed of regrets,
Spider the temple of suffering.
How many rosaries fell down his cold lips!
How much salt water spills from its headlights!
Bécquer swallows sing
in his funny love trills
but its wings do not rise,
because they sleep in the mausoleum of misfortune.
What a pity!
Titanium that you hurt, that you tear and crush,
Tell me:
In which rivers will I bury your dark footsteps?
Don't call me at your door of anguish
I don't want your bitter ice cream
I can't with so much nail!
I just am
a human
A fragile country daisy.
Penalty, your gray pigeons
they cry today
in my window
your sharp branches
cut my dreams
Your lunges, they hurt, they hurt ... they bleed.
