EN MEMORIA DE LOS FIELES DIFUNTOS

Enciendo una vela en memoria de los fieles difuntos
en recuerdo de aquellos que se fueron
pero que algun día volverán.

Una vez regresan, su camino lleno de pétalos.
Esa noche de fiesta de difuntos en que los llamamos con el corazón,
su aliento se sentirá.
Regresará el alma de esa madre,
de ese hijo fallecido repentinamente,
de ese padre o esposo, novio.

Se sentirá su presencia
¡Y los sentiremos tan cerca!
Ese día vendrán.

Pero el último día de nuestra vida
nosotros vendremos a ellos
y veremos su rostro,
cual estrellas blancas relucientes.

I light a candle in memory of the faithful departed

in memory of those who were

But someday they will return.

Once they return, their path full of petals.

That party night of the dead when we call them with our hearts,

Your breath will feel.

That mother's soul will return

of that son who died suddenly

of that father or husband, boyfriend.

Your presence will feel

And we will feel them so close!

The day will come.

But the last day of our life

we will go to them

and we will see his face

like bright white stars
